The Arts Empowerment Project is a non-profit organization that provides funding to connect children impacted by violence and at-risk children to existing arts programs in the Charlotte area. Where children can mend their spirits through the therapeutic power of art!
The Youth Exchange Project will directly engage middle school-aged refugees to use theatre in order to tell their personal stories. Using theatre games, writing workshops, physical theatre and music they will work with the kids to identify their personal stories, culture and experiences.
