Treehouse Acting Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company for young artists.

Treehouse Acting Company was founded by Abby Corrigan and Matt Mitchell in 2010 when the two were just in the 6th grade. As passionate young performers they were adamant about creating theatre opportunities for young performers and designers. They began by producing previously written plays, but directed, performed, and designed entirely by teenagers. Abby and Matt then began using Treehouse Acting Company as a way to produce original work, including their full-length rock musical CYBERSOUL. They are especially proud that Treehouse's recent productions have been able to benefit The Arts Empowerment Project, a non-profit organization that provides funding to connect children impacted by violence and at-risk children to existing arts programs in the Charlotte area.

Abby and Matt want Treehouse Acting Company to continue to be a venue to premiere new work by young artists as well as benefit the local community.
